Community

Community involvement is not only important to each team member but passion for giving back is something we like to see in all of our clients.   While we have large plans on how to pay it forward in our world, for now, we have a couple different methods.

Dimes for Dozens was started late 2019 as a way for Laura’s children to learn money management, environmental care and the importance of helping others who are less fortunate.

After Covid, the plan is to collect empties donations as while as cleaning up the streets of Turkey Point and our local neighbourhood.  Currently all funds saved are being donated.  In 2020, Dimes for Dozens has collected $766.20 and will be giving all monies to Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster Children’s Hospital.

Did you see Laura’s about me blurb? Laura is a synchronized skating judge, technical specialist and technical controller for Skate Canada. This role started as a way to give back to the sport but has quickly become a passion. Despite the long hours of studying, weekends away from family and occasionally many days of travel (including the days stuck in the maritime provinces thanks to snowstorms!), the screams of teams who had great skates, improved marks, or their emotions from overcoming their intimate struggles quickly justifies the effort spent.
